Gas based Fire Suppression System
The cause of Fire are many and the classification of Fire is important. Fire can be classified into Class A/B/C/D and K. A Fire protection specialist therefore must select the appropriate fire extinguishing system for suppressing the fire.
As the name suggests, Fire Suppression System uses Inert gas or dry chemicals to extinguish the fire. System typically consists of agent, agent storage containers, agent release valves, agent delivery piping and discharge nozzle. In the event of fire, the chemical agent is automatically discharged which can also be manually activated is discharged from all nozzles.
